When is payment due?

A reservation deposit is necessary upon booking. The remaining balance must be settled no later than 30days before arrival.

 

What is the minimum age requirement for renting a property?

The primary guest named in the rental contract must be at least 25 years old. Any guests below this minimum age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire rental period. Proof of age may be requested, and you agree to provide it upon request. If you have any queries regarding the minimum rental age, please reach out to Live & Stay for clarification.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

At Live & Stay 30a our cancellation policy is designed to provide travelers with confidence and ease when making their reservation. When booking your beach vacation with us, we collect a deposit (for reservations made more than 30 days before arrival) and ensure seamless payment processing through our automatic system, eliminating any concerns about missed payment dates.

 

We want all vacationers to feel secure about their reservation. Please see below for our cancellation policy options:

  • 90 Days or More Before Check-in: If you notify us of your intent to cancel 30 days or more before your check-in date, you will receive a refund minus our service fee, and taxes.
  • 30 Days Before Check-in: If you notify us of your intent to cancel 89 – 30 days before your check-in date, you will receive a refund minus the service fee, taxes, and 50% of the total reservation rent.
  • 29 Days or Less Before Check-in: If you notify us of your intent to cancel 29 days or less before your check-in date, there will be no refund.

Do you recommend travel insurance?

A beach vacation is a significant financial investment, and just like any investment, safeguarding it is crucial. We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance, as it offers substantial coverage in the event of unexpected circumstances jeopardizing your getaway.

 

What communication can I expect after I make a reservation?

We’ll send you an online rental agreement via email, which requires electronic signature, along with details on travel insurance, check-in procedures, and any other essential information for your stay. Access information will be provided 48 hours before your arrival. Please note that reservations must be fully paid, and contracts must be electronically signed before this information is provided.

 

What is the minimum duration of stay?

Certain properties may have a one-week minimum stay requirement during the summer and holiday periods, with arrival and departure on Fridays or Saturdays. In the off-season, minimum nights may be more flexible, but this varies depending on the vacation rental.

Where do we check in?

Physical check-in at our office is not required during your stay. Your pre-arrival email will contain access instructions, including a code for the lockbox. Our offices are not currently open to the public.

 

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins after 4 PM local time, and check-out is scheduled by 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out options are available for purchase for certain rentals. Please inquire with Live & Stay 30a to determine if your rental is eligible. If you’ve already made a reservation, reach out to our team to submit your request.

 

What if we arrive after hours?

For rentals equipped with a keyless lock, proceed directly to your rental. In the case of properties requiring a key for access, rental keys will be placed in a secure lockbox at the property. Access instructions, along with the lockbox code, will be provided in your pre-arrival email.

 

Who is able to check in?

The primary guest listed in the contract must be present during check-in. If you require alternative arrangements, kindly contact us beforehand, and we will advise if alternative arrangements can be accommodated.

 

When will I receive the address to my property?

Following your booking, you will receive a confirmation email from us containing the property’s address.

 

How many people are allowed in the property?

All properties enforce maximum occupancy limits as outlined in the rental agreement. Throughout your reservation dates, guests are prohibited from exceeding the designated maximum occupancy for your rental property. Occupancy encompasses the total number of individuals present at the rental property at any given time.

 

What’s included in my vacation rental?

All our vacation rentals come fully furnished with a kitchen or kitchenette, equipped with amenities such as a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. Each property is supplied with cooking and serving essentials, including plates, bowls, utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew, measuring spoons, and more. While bath towels and bed linens are provided, guests are kindly asked to bring their own beach towels.

 

What should I expect to bring/buy for my rental?

You might already have bathing suits, beach toys, and sunscreen on your packing list. However, if you’re new to vacationing in a condo rental or vacation home, you may be unsure about additional items you’ll need to bring or purchase upon arrival.

While our Gulf Coast vacation rentals come stocked with many home comforts, such as bedding and kitchen essentials like dishware and utensils, there are a few extra items you’ll want to consider packing.

Upon arrival for your Florida beach vacation, you’ll find your rental equipped with an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to last you the first 24 hours. However, you’ll need to pick up additional supplies to see you through the remainder of your stay. Napkins, condiments, cooking spices, and coffee filters are among the items you may wish to purchase during your trip.

You may also want to bring or rent items such as cribs, pack-n-plays, high chairs, and other necessities for the youngest travelers in your group. While bath towels are provided, beach towels are not, so remember to pack those from home.

Do you provide daily housekeeping service?

Live & Stay 30a ensures a departure clean for all stays. We furnish an initial supply of towels and linens, along with trash liners, bathroom tissue, bath soap, and dishwasher soap. Laundry facilities are available either within the rental property or on the premises.

Are pets allowed?

A number of our vacation rentals accommodate small pets weighing under 50 pounds for a nominal fee. Our Pet Policy.

 

Can the private pool be heated?

Certain properties feature private pools that can be heated for an additional fee during your stay. Please reach out to us at least 48 hours before your arrival to coordinate pool heating.
